The Bride and Groom
Bride’s Name: Megan (Harris) Densmore
Groom’s Name: Thomas Densmore
Wedding Date: January 2, 2016
How you met your fiancé? We met during our freshman year in college, at Tarleton State University in Stephenville, Texas.
How did he propose? Thomas and I like to hunt. One day after work I met him at the place we usually hunt on and he asked me to go check the deer feeder. As I was walking towards the feeder I could hear him walking behind me and I was wondering why he was following me – I could check the feeder on my own! I pressed the “test” button and nothing was happening and I turned around and said, “it doesn’t even work!” After I pressed the button a couple more times, deer corn fell all over me, and as I turned around laughing at myself, Thomas was down on one knee with a ring.
Your Bridal Gown &Accessories
Who was the wedding gown designer, and what was the style? Allure, #9051
Favorite Feature about your dress: I love the lace and the beading!
How did you know your dress was “the one”? I tried on several dresses, and I had it down to two. The other dress I had picked out was pretty, but my dress was just perfect. It has the classic lace like I wanted, a touch of bling and sparkle – which I loved, and it showed off my curves. I couldn’t stop thinking about it! It was a little over budget, but I definitely do not regret it. My dress was perfect for me!
Describe your experience at Pence & Panache: I loved shopping at Pence & Panache. My consultant, Asia, was so awesome! She made me feel very comfortable and she was so helpful in picking out dresses. I would definitely recommend Pence & Panache to anyone!
What accessories did you choose to accent your dress: : I chose a diamond bracelet and crystal teardrop-shaped earrings.
Your Wedding Day
Wedding Venue: River Ranch Stockyards; Fort Worth, Texas
Who was your Wedding Photographer: Kent Evans Photography
What was your “something old, something new, something borrowed, and something blue”? Old: The boots I wore, New: Jewelry, Borrowed: Great-grandmother’s wedding ring, Blue: My handkerchief I held throughout the ceremony.
What color palette did you select? I chose maroon and turquoise. Turquoise is my favorite color, but I didn’t think that was very wintery. I added in the maroon because it’s also one of my favorite colors, but it was my parent’s colors in their wedding, which was also in January. Not very many people choose maroon and turquoise to go together, so I liked that my color palette was different!
How do you describe the theme of your wedding? Rustic, classic country

What was your favorite part of your wedding day? ? Getting to be able to spend the day with all the people I love the most, and look good while doing it! I had a blast all day – from the minute I woke up until the minute I went to sleep! I was so excited to be able to marry my best friend and have all of our family and friends to be there to share our special day with us.
